- ENabling Girls in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Growing Expertise (ENGAGE). This is a $5.5 million project jointly undertaken by the University of Nairobi (UoN), University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT). The primary aim of this project is to empower girls and young women at the early stages of their education, encouraging their exploration and involvement in the realms of data science and artificial intelligence (AI). Through targeted activities and support, the project endeavors to equip participants with the requisite skills and knowledge to make substantial contributions toward addressing public health challenges in developing nations.
